Roosevelt was born on October 27, 1858 in New York City. Teddy was born into a wealthy family. As a child he was always sick and frail. But worked out a lot and got in shape while growing up as a teeenager. His father was Theodore Roosevelt Sr. and his mom was Martha Bulloch Roosevelt. Also he had one brothers and two sister, Elliott Bulloch Roosevelt, Corinne Roosevelt Robinson, and Bamie Roosevelt. Teddy graduation from Harvard College in 1880, then Columbia University Law School, though he dropped out after only one year to enter public service. He was elected to the New York State Assembly at the age of 23, and served two terms.
