“The Danger of a Single Story” by Chimananda Ngozi Adichie is simply about stereotyping. Adichie is an author who originates from Nigeria, and was featured on the TED talk. Adichie talked about how everyone has assumptions of others based on one single story. Adichie talks about how she read books from the British and American cultures. How these books helped her to write her own stories just like the ones she read. Adichie Obtained that her books should have a white blue eyed person who always talked about the weather. She herself stereotyped what she believed to be true, that all British and Americans were white and had blue eyes. In the TED talk Adichie goes on and talks about the house boy she had as a child.
