Born November 24, 1946 was Ted Bundy, a charming, handsome, and smart man that allowed him to get close to victims. Ted bundy was born in a hospital for unwed mothers and was raised for the first three years of his life by his grandparents, Samuel and Eleanor Crowell. It was said that Samuel was very abusive to his wife and animals, even to Ted. Ted and everyone else was told that Samuel and Eleanor were his real parents and his mother, Louise Cowell, was his older sister. It was said that Ted held a lifelong bitterness to his mother for never telling him who his real dad was. After age 3, Louise and Ted moved in with Louise’s cousins. He confessed to 36 different murders, the first year he killed was 1971. Ted would usually be wearing a sling or cast, as acting as he was injured and ask women to help him carry things to his car. Since Ted was handsome and charming no one questioned if he was a killer. He also has been said that he would impersonate policemen and firefighters. Another way he would get women is by breaking into their house while sleeping. He would always beat women until they passed out. The police could not find any connection between the women except that they wore slacks or blue jeans when abducted. After 6 reported missing women, Bundy was reported a suspect. He wasn’t investigated because police men thought a college student with no criminal record was a lost hope. Bundy got accepted in law school in Utah and moved. He again starting killing women in Utah, Idaho, and Colorado. There were 12 women found around all these areas, and no could figure out who was doing it. Back in Washington the police made a database with things they knew about the killer, Volkswagen owners, friends of the victims, sex offenders. Ted Bundy showed up on 4 of the lists, making him a major suspect. He was dating a girl named Elizabeth Kloepfer, and Stephanie Brooks. Bundy was said to have antisocial personality disorder, he had charm, and he didn’t have any guilt for what he did. He was also said to be very narcissistic, he was someone who thought he could con anyone. He was always blaming people for his mistakes and not taking the responsibility for his actions. He also said in a last interview that pornography had a lot to do with his killings. He said he was addicted to pornography and once that happens you must keep working towards more graphic pleasures. All of the victim are said to look like Stephanie Brooks, the girl who broke his heart. Many people also believed that is the main reason why he killed, and targets young girls who looked like Brooks.
