Psychiatric Diagnosis “Ted Bundy” Antisocial Personality Disorder
Antisocial Personality Disorder is a common disorder where an individual like to stay to themselves. They don’t like being in huge groups around a lot of people. Some people that have this disorder is very charming and nice when you meet them, others are often angry and upset. They feel like they are an outcast and no one understands them. He through his younger daughter down the stairs because she overslept. His grandfather abused the family dog and tortured their neighbor’s cats. When the interviewers asked Ted about his mother and father he got upset. They moved on to the next topic and they wanted to know the type of person his grandmother was. Whenever he talked about his grandmother he always said nice things about her. She was a very timid woman and was suffering from depression and was often treated for it.
Ted was afraid to leave his grandmother alone because he didn’t know what might happen. When Ted was younger he showed signs of deadly behaviors. When his aunty was asleep he put knives around her bed and she felt someone standing over her. As she woke up she saw Ted standing over her holding a Knife and smiling ever since that day she was afraid of him. He would go back and have sex with the corpse. He had a thing for having sex with decomposing women until the animals started eating the remains. He liked the fact of getting away with things so he continued to haunt girls down. Very little victims got away and those that didn’t were killed. It got to the point where Ted started going into an all-girls home and started bashing women heads in. Ted would also decapitate his victim’s heads and keep them in his apartment as trophies. Ted had issues that no one could understand.
In 1975 Ted got arrested for aggravated kidnapping and attempted criminal assault. He was held for other charges as well, he was accused for unsolved homicides. Now that he was facing multiple murder charges he escaped jail several times. He committed several more assaults and murders until he was finally caught in Florida. Ted received three death sentences and didn’t confess to murdering his victims until the day of his execution. On January 24, 1989 Ted confessed to killing over thirty women. He wasn’t sorry or remorseful he didn’t care that he hurt innocent
