In November 1974, a woman named Carol DaRonch was attacked at a mall in Utah by a man dressed as a police officer. Carol managed to escape, and provided the police with a description of the man, his car description, and a sample of his blood from her jacket. Only a few hours later, Debbie Kent, a 17 year old girl, disappeared. During this time, hikers in a Washington forest found a graveyard of bones which was found to belong to missing women from Washington, and Utah. In 1975, Bundy got pulled over for speeding by police, then a search of his vehicle uncovered a crowbar, face mask, rope, trash bags, and handcuffs. These items were assumed to be burglary items, and Bundy was arrested. Ted told the police that the items were common household
