Technology's Influence On Steve Jobs

The world we live in is one which is heavily influenced by technology, innovations, and the dream of becoming an entrepreneur. With the world constantly evolving, the work force is paralleling that transition. Everybody has the dream of being the next Steve Jobs, or Garett Camp, yet they are not beginning at the surface. Prior to reading and hearing from Daniel Pink I had a very different outlook on the workforce and the steps leading to succession. I never spent time thinking about the misconceptions associated with our brain and how the left side is more logical and linear, and the right side is more of a processor and synthesizer. In prior years industries were more enthralled by the skills of the left side of our brain, however with time came transformations. The workforce is now interested in artistic and empathetic abilities. The reason for this shift is that technology is beginning to take over and effectively perform the same task in a quicker and more cost efficient way.
