As technology has evolved vastly over the centuries with the industrial revolution taking place and introducing the use of more machinery being integrated with human skills, efficiency has improved. There is the school of thought, which says that the human mind is eventually going to be taken over by technology, as humans have become more reliant on machinery and technology and have refused to grow the human intellect given to us. There can also be a school of thought that would assume that unemployment would be on the rise say if technological changes are still adopted in the years to come. However the exact opposite has happened. Technology has brought about machinery, which can work faster up to 10 times more than that of a regular laborer …show more content…
For example, a car manufacturing company has to assemble a car in about 4 days. The tendency that the labor intensive used would be efficient enough to complete the assembling with the said time is quite low as compared to if it was given to just a group of specialized workers with the help of advanced machinery. Thus, the use of technology in terms of improving the labor force has helped in reducing the waste of time and increasing productivity and efficiency. Human labor shouldn’t no be disputed as human intellect cannot be compared to the machinery “intellect” but aren’t we prone to falling sick and getting weak after our highest physical strength has been reached? Can an individual walk from Africa to Europe and back. ? There would be hesitation in answering these questions, as one would have to think thoroughly about how technology has been helping in all aspects of life. Technology has brought about the creation of cars, aircrafts, space shuttle etc. and they have aided transportation yet again increasing efficiency and productivity. The reliance on technology to improve the quality or good, be efficient and productive is high as compared to leaving such work in the hands of mere laborers to handle such tasks with the intellect they have or training
