Technology Should Not Be Taught In Schools Essay

Technology such as the internet and video can certainly be a distraction to students, but if used properly they can be an essential tool for learning. In today's day and age, it would be detrimental to deprive students access to computers and the internet. While they should not be used as the crux for teaching techniques, these technologies have become viable channels through which one may access knowledge. As such, rather than prohibiting the use of these technologies, it would be more effective to teach students how to properly handle and navigate these tools.

Computers, the Internet, and other comparable technological developments have become integrated into daily human use. Even if these technologies were not provided in school settings, they are most likely available at home, or through other outlets.
