The Tech-Shift Dilemma/Predicament at TAS Technology.
My Description of the Organization:
The company TAS Technology is a market leader in data analysis or analytics products or goods and has been for over 30 years. It was established in 1976, and is considered one of the earliest companies on the planet to actually put analytics to commercial use (non-free). Furthermore, the company, specially holds the distinct title as being one of the most desirable places in which to work for on the plant (classed by Fortune Magazine). Although, the employee strong point has come to about 12,000 worldwide, TAS yet functions with an extremely delayering organization structure with few or no middle management levels between personnel and upper-level management, a whole lot like a start-up or new business. Moreover, independent or autonomous R&D centers, located throughout the would, create fresh ideas and thoughts that are, at that time given to founder/owner, Jim Goodnight, who in-turn gives the authorization to go-head with development.
