Ethics play a role in every aspect of decision making, “if you understand that ethics is a set of standardized rules for conducting yourself morally, then its easy to see that ethics is a lot like a tax code. Its a system where people are looking for loopholes and shelters. They 're looking to get away with whatever they can while still staying within the rules” (Pasztor 2015).When we think of Ethics, “we tend to think of corporations like Enron that misrepresented earnings and enriched itself at the expense of stakeholders (employees, shareholders suppliers, customers, etc.); and made headlines in the year 2000 for being unethical” (Jackson, 2014).

Collins says, “Codes of Ethics and Conduct demonstrate managerial concern about ethics, convey a particular set of values to all employees, and have an impact on employee behavior. They provide employees with clear and consistent moral guidance” (Collins, 2009). Unfortunately, “ethics isn 't always second nature and isn 't necessarily “one size fits all”- it is something that we must be continually working on, and its deeply personal” (Pastor, 2015).
The Following would an ideal of my personal code of ethics for personal and professional decision making combined with the ethical framework that I feel most connection with would be the five biblical principles discussed in workshop one.

Individuals decision making can devastate a whole organization,“A groups success or failure is highly dependent on the behaviors of its individual members“ (Johnson, 2015). With a personal code of ethics like above it is something to keep individuals mindful of choices they make, “Ethics is not religion. Religion essentially pertains only to those who choose to follow it. Ethics, on the other hand, pertains to everyone, and we should expect ethical behavior from everyone, no matter what field or profession they might be in” (Pasztor, 2015).
