Technology In The 1800s

Technology How would you act with not a lot of technology? Well there wasn't a lot of things that were invented back in the 1800’s, but there was little things that made good impacts on people. Back then people didn't really care what they had or didn't have, then just cared that they had things to communicate with others, and things that they had never seen before so they were happy. The piece of technology that I will talk about is the telephone. The telephone was made on March 10th 1876. It was invented by Alexander Graham Bell. The telephone was invented for many reason. The most important reason it was made was because it was our only way to communicate from a long distance. The telephone made an impact on the Americans because it could be use in so many places. It could be used in homes, so people can receive calls from others in their own home. There was telephones in the business department, that way they could get work calls. Lastly, the phone was part of education, because if a child needed help on work for school they could get ahold of their teachers or instructors. The telephone was part of entertainment, because kids would think of it as a toy to communicate with others. The telephone had a huge impact on the Country in the 1800’s. One of the reasons why it made an impact on the country, was because it made it possible to communicate from far away. People could call someone that was in a different part of town, or in a different State. There could be a person in the family that left to go somewhere far away, but if they had a telephone where they were, they could call one another. The people took the phone in as one of the best inventions that was made, because of it helping the communication population
