May I first begin by saying that I am becoming more and more amazed and a little frightened of the accuracy of past writers/philosophers and their predictions of the future. In Ray Bradbury’s “The Veldt,” a few questions revolving around technologies arise. First, the idea that technology may become so involved in our everyday lives that we would “stop living.” The concept that technology, produced to make our lives easier, would make our lives too easy and we would no longer function for ourselves and in a way “stop living.” Another idea about technology that is presented in the story is the way different generations interact with each other through technology.
