Technology advances every day and has become commonplace in our daily lives, education is one of the biggest things that technological advances have changed the way we use to do it. As new generations become increasingly dependent to Technology impacts their life’s, they way that they learn is affected as well. This situation is being address by two genres that show the effect of technology in the classroom. The writer Matt Ritchel does a great job addressing the audience and explaining what teachers believe about technology in school. The purpose of this specific article is to inform the audience of the effect technology has change the way students learn from a teacher point of view. The writer doesn’t take any side in this article, he lets the audience formulate and opinion, which a newspaper story purpose should always be.
In The second genre in the video called “Technology in Education: A Future Classroom” Created by Daniel Nemroff the audience is the general public or perhaps a younger audience. The video is in a famous website (YouTube) that anybody who is online has access to it. The purpose of this video is to show the general public how the impact of technology in the learning environment in a near future can be and how helpful it would be. The video is fiction but the idea behind it is to give the viewers an example of the positive impact technology may have some day in the student life.
