Technology Effects On American Children

This paper is about the American children being addicted to technology and how it’s grasp has an effect on them both physically and mentally. Electronics has definitely upgraded in this new generation and still is making new advancements. The American children have countless uses for these gadgets, that they somehow depend on them to keep them away from anything that bores them. They rely on them for entertainment and all around purposes, that they don’t recognize the consequences for using them so much in a day. How truly does technology affect our brains, well the way it affects children is based off of environmental factors, our social interaction with one another, and of course our health, so to sum up; technology affects our memory, our attention, what we focus on and our sleep cycles(Horvath). In a sense technology has been prophesied to lead us to a decline in civilization because it distracts children from what truly goes on in the real world. An example study is that in the Turk community, the society’s students were a part of generation x when social media arose and a lot of the university students were indulged by this new source of entertainment. This is where our decrease in social interaction took a huge decline because a new behavior made its way to the surface where students weren’t communicating as they used to, it truly became diverse.Through the study the major addiction was Internet and only this, but now something else was there the negative influences at least through it is solely through an addiction around several countries that has to be treated. Where do the positive and negative effects come in, well that is basically a question still being in the answered phase it takes time to make this discovery because of the advancements there can be some partial examples of the positives that come from being addicted to technology however it is really miniscule, so time will only
