As far as technology goes researchers have observed and proven that people involved in using more technology have a smaller span for paying attention, a difficult time obtaining information from their brain, and a somewhat lack in their verbal skills. Additionally, sleeping has positive effects on cognitive development such as higher concentration levels and overall more energy to focus. A lack of sleep has negative impacts on many vital areas of the brain that people need to function properly.
