While some people say that English classes are one of the last places to find creativity because they are “textbook taught”, they are wrong because there are many opportunities to be creative in these classes. The first way is with creative writings. Along the lines of art classes, some teachers give an assignment but just give a very brief explanation of what they want and making the assignment really open for students to be creative. They are giving a topic to write about but not told how to write it. They just get to choose the type of paper they want to write and create it. Teachers supply students with many methods to do a certain concept so that they can learn an idea to the best of their ability. Schools also offer the fine arts in which they can be creative and create their own music. Also, they offer clubs for students to be creative in, like the art club, which I described in the beginning of this paper.
