Technology has made great strides in the past years, but it has also had a very negative impact in people's lives. Technology has made people antisocial, unable to communicate, and detached from the outside world. People in society are constantly using their phones, laptops, and tablets. This leaves very little room for person to person communication. Technology has made huge changes in how people live their day to day lives. People are becoming very antisocial because of the advances in technology. Instead of going out with their friends on a Friday night, people are staying home so they can binge watch another season of their favorite show on Netflix. Instead of face to face communication, people are used to typing on a screen to talk to people. In every relationship a major key to keeping the relationship healthy is communication. Without being to communicate, a partner becomes very distant and doesn't know how to express their feelings. Not being able to communicate well will destroy a relationship. When people go to an interview for a job, they are very anxious and awkward. This is because their lack of communication. People in society do not know how to speak to a person who has authority. Being able to communicate with people is a very important aspect in every person's life. If you cannot communicate well with people it may not get you the job you want or it could ruin your relationship. The classic family meal where the whole family sits at the table together and tells each other how their day went is completely gone. Instead of talking to each other their heads are stuck in their phones. The close bond of family is drifting away in time. College students are constantly on their phones while walking to class.
