Improved Essays
Since the beginning of school, people have been sent scrambling to a book, looking for our answers. With new technology today, we can find our answers much quicker. Many of people have the power to access the internet, which includes students of all ages. Kids who would be able to bring their own device, especially in high schools, would be a great benefit all around. School districts would be allowed to lower spending on technology, students would gain more time for learning, and our devices would connect everyone. It has come to my attention that there have been many reports of cyber bullying at Walter Murray in the past few months. These reports have caused you and others to consider enforcing a complete ban on personal electronics at the school. This is not the way to solve the problem because cyber bullying doesn't generally occur during school hours, parents purchase electronics for their children's safety and banning them would remove a valuable resource for learning. Cyber bullying is an issue that effects one in five kids today.…

We use it for our iPads, laptops, and programs. These things assist us in completing research, lessons, and creating documents or presentations. Our schools have become so dependent on technology, the Internet, and Wifi, that without it, we would be totally lost. Wifi is important to me personally because with having to execute multiple projects in a short span of time, I would take much longer if I had to incorporate the time spent checking out books from a library or searching in encyclopedias. In my opinion online research is the easiest, most efficient way to…

Because students have grown up with technology and use it in their daily lives, it would make sense for schools to start using them as learning aids, rather than books. "Small business owners are now more dependent than ever on technology for growth since their customers and employees are so geographically dispersed,"Although some parents say that they would rather have their children learn from books like they used, our world is changing and electronics in the classroom would be more beneficial. Although some say that it is muscle memory which is why the teachers give notes, 80 percent of the time, the notes will get lost. If students used technology instead of books, the notes would not be able to get lost because the notes would be on their electronics. In addition, it would help if high school was like college in these types of situations.…

This is a great thing for students because it keeps them organized and tidy. For example, teachers put grades and assign the homework on School Loop. Having technology to help students learn is helpful because it is a fast and easy way to look up information. Also students can help each other by texting if they don’t know how to do the assignment. Another reason why technology should not be stopped at school is because if the teachers are not prepared a week in advance, the students would not have a good time rushing to write all their homework and assignments down.…

As the world is changing, schools are changing, work is changing, everything is changing and right before our eyes. Maybe that 's because we are glued to our screen of the technological device in our hands, instead of looking up and around at what is happening to the world around us. Technology is everywhere and almost everyone has some type of device that transmits information faster than they have encountered before. This is including how schools are starting to distribute iPads to every single student and trying out new methods of learning. What they aren 't thinking about though, is how these will likely be a bigger issue then intended.…
