For instance, the use of Skype is an interactive program that allows family members to view each other and communicate while at work, or even overseas. It has bridged the gap between those that are unable to see their loved ones due to distance. I have also used electronics for the advancement of my education. Online college courses are one of the greatest tools to help single mothers, working fathers, or kids who cannot afford University tuition to get the same education as anyone else. With that being said, I believe there needs to be a proposal to stop allowing the use of electronics to dominate our lifestyles as it so evidently does today; restaurants could have signs posted to encourage human interaction around the table and to remind parents to lead their children by example by not being on any electronics at the table unless there is an emergency, in which case to excuse yourself from the table. People in the public eye (politicians, celebrities, music artists, ect.) could have a great impact on our society by just a simple PSA. I think Americans need to stand up and make change when it comes to how we utilize our time with electronics. If we keep this trend going, then 20, 30, even 40 years from now, our children and grandchildren will have no social skills in which to communicate. It 's something that is guaranteed to happen unless we make a change. And that change needs to start with you, and
