While you are driving you tend to look at your phone and text someone. Even though you know it is fatal, you do it anyways. This disconnects you from the road and what is happening in front of you. Texting while driving is one of the leading causes for wrecks. According to NHTSA approximately ten percent of car wrecks within the age group of sixteen to twenty were caused by the driver being distracted. While texting and driving the lowest amount of time that you are distracted is five seconds. Depending on the length of the message it may be more. This being said you can look back and see how when the times get rough you put your ear buds in and listen to music and try to escape. When doing this you are not getting rid of the problems permanently, you are only getting away from them for a short amount of time. The problems tend to come back all the time and others sometimes remind you of what the problem was. If you continuously are on the phone, you will probably have more problems than someone who occasionally gets on theirs.
Meanwhile there are many advantages while using technology and all that it can do. There are also many disadvantages to it. It is also tremendously important to not confuse which is truly important to you and which is completely irrelevant. Technology is a great way to communicate with one another and it is part of the world in which we live in, but the negatives will just keep building up along with the positives as technology
