Thesis Statement:
Molebash, P. (1999). Technology and education: current and future trends. Journal of IT, 6(1). Retrieved from http://www.itari.in/categories/futuretrendsineducation/FutureofEdu-Tech.pdf In this article, Molebash presents to us the changes that education is being faced with today. He claims that it is not new knowledge that education is slowly changing, especially in integrating new technologies. He analyzes on past technologies to gain a better understanding of our current and future trends. He proclaims that of all societal occupations, education is the slowest when it comes to technology innovation. Classrooms today appear to be “outdated” and not caught up with technology like other occupations are. In the article he provides numerous examples and well supported explanations about the leading technology in today’s society. He concludes that classroom technology will be the leading change for educators and students in the near future.
