As with time, our need becomes our necessity. And it is said that, Necessity is father of all Invention. With time we need wireless technology that can replace cables such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. Bluetooth is also cable replacement technology that can connect different computer devices with a short-range wireless radio connection. It has wide areas of applications. Some of it’s features is

• Power Consumption is low
• Less Price
• Robustness
• Secured and Encrypted communication

Bluetooth has following Specifications-
1. Volume 1, Core Specifications--- It is for diverse units such as baseband, Link Manager Protocal (LMP), Logical link control and adaptation protocol(L2CAP), radio, Service Discovery Protocol (SDP), transport layer and interoperability with different communication protocols
2. Volume 2, Profile Specifications--- It specifies the relationships between procedures and protocols required for different types of Bluetooth Applications.

Bluetooth Protocol Stack consists of protocols according to OSI reference model, which have been classified below:-

• After the advent of Bluetooth Smart, even a normal person having no knowledge of medical field can pair up their smartphone or tablet or smart watch with new types of Bluetooth wireless sensors to monitor everything from Oxygen and Glucose levels to heart
