The future will bring many changes in technology; some that will be embraced with open arms, others that will be questioned. In the past half-century, the transformation within technology has grown dramatically and is now an intricate part of everyday life. Whether in education, business or healthcare, advancements in technology have vastly altered the way we handle our daily activities. Social media allows humans to voice their opinions while hidden behind a computer screen; online education allows students to forego a traditional education; and new advancements in robotics are reinventing techniques on how to carryout healthcare operations. Nonetheless, with every action, there is a reaction and not all technological advancements creative a positive impact.
One emerging technology that will change the practice of nursing is robotics. Growth in robotics is “expected due to workforce shortages, a growing elder population, and a call for high quality of care not subject to human limitations,” putting it at the forefront of healthcare (Huston, 2013). One example is the da Vinci Surgical System, which uses a robot to mimic a surgeon’s hand movements into “smaller, precise movements of tiny instruments that are inside the patient’s body”

When a child is extensively bullied, it can be extremely damaging to his/her overall mental and physical health and well-being. If a child has the option to attend class without the worry of bullying, it will affect their grades and overall happiness in a positive light. On the other hand, decreased physical interaction will occur between students and their peers if they are stuck behind a computer screen. When students are in school together, they are able to connect, develop social skills and make friends that last a lifetime. Online schooling could lead to a child having problems with social skills or a lack of friends, leading to issues such as
