I would first like to say thank you for such an astonishing privilege to be among outstanding students who are being consider for the National Technical Honor Society. It would be a great honor to be a part of an amazing group of students who work hard, lead, dedicate themselves to not only to their high school and community, but to a magnificent society such as the National Technical Honor Society. Moira Young once said “For in our dreams we find ourselves. Who we were. Who we are. Who we will become. Sleep. Dream.” It has been my dream and I believe I obtain the qualities to be a valuable asset to this society if accepted as a member. Since I was born I has been said by my family members that I would be the smart one. Being only a toddler I was doing more advanced things than most toddlers my age. For example when I was only four years old I setup up my grandma’s computer all by myself. Whenever I got the chance I would always be exploring the world of technology and playing games on the computer. If I wasn’t doing that I would be lending a helping hand whether it was watering the garden, putting stuff …show more content…
Once I discovered the computer maintenance program I deeply desired to join the class unfortunately I didn’t have any more free electives. Even though I was already involved in other extracurricular activities I was able to be a part of the Cyber Patriots Club afterschool. Every Tuesday and Thursday after school I would go to Cyber Patriots after I went to band practice. I enjoy it so much that I would go every chance I could. Defending and hardening computer systems to prevent hackers from accessing them is a trill like no other. Finally I had found a career I was destine to be a part of.
