Neal Karlinsky in his article Tech-Free Teens he says, “[Social media] and texting are like food and water for modern-day teenagers. They think in status updates, check email before brushing their teeth and fall asleep while texting”. The society we live in today, is surrounded by technology. It is great that we have so much information at the tip of our fingertips but it is also a huge time waster when we are constantly checking texts, email and social media. Frank L Wright said, “If [this] keeps up, man will atrophy all his limbs but his [texting] finger.” Many experts are worried that this will be the case. Too many teenagers are so caught up with their online friends and status that they are missing out on so many things in the real world.
