In Addition, my junior year here in Godinez has been a memorable year that I will contemplate later on in my life as I will look back in this year personally when my development in character has progressed, some of my academic achievements that I’ve had throughout this year, and the fact that I had stepped out of my comfort zone. From maintaining a stable academic status to being more involved in school, but the one experience that stood out the most in my junior year was when I had joined Tech crew. From the moment I had picked up the paper from the vice president of Tech crew during club rush, which was Jesus Martinez, I had this urge of momentum and excitement about being involved more in Godinez and being a part of Tech crew was the perfect way to demonstrate that. …show more content…
Tech crew will be one of the experiences that I will remember in my junior year knowing that I enjoyed working on the different school events that had taken place throughout this year such as the Talent show, the school musical which was The Sound of Music, the advanced drama showcase, the spring Dance concert, the beginning drama showcase, and the Visual and performing arts concert. These memories are very important because I had picked up different experiences working on these variety of school events such as moving props around, working on microphones, adjusting sound, and being a cameraman. What these positions all had in common was the fact that I helmed the task of responsibility and that had soon better developed the type of person that I want to be after I exit Godinez Fundamental High

I want to be a Link Crew Leader because I would love to be able to mentor freshman as my previous Link Crew Leaders did to me. I also feel that becoming a Link Crew Leader would not only allow me to help shape freshman to become better people but to help me become a better person myself. I have been both a volunteer at a summer program for first and second graders and an assistant coach for the special needs program at Alta Loma Little League. At the summer program I was tasked with teaching 3 classes of first graders to type and code. This leadership position not only taught me how to actively communicate with people who learn in different ways, but also taught me to become a stronger leader.…

Some positions within the Coast Guard should be evaluated closely to determine if these positions are beneficial to the Coast Guard Mission. My position in the Response Division, at Sector Buffalo, I feel should be eliminated because it is of no value to the Coast Guard. This position does not have a mission, there are no leadership opportunities, and is an ineffective use of Coast Guard resources. Every member of the Coast Guard should want to, and should be expected to, contribute in some way to one of the many Coast Guard missions. One of the main reasons that this position should be eliminated is because it is a Chief Petty Officer (CPO) position that does not offer any leadership opportunities.…
