When making decisions, we always take an inquiry based approach, and have made all choices by consensus, not majority. Everyone’s ideas are discussed and considered equally in order to avoid making attribution errors that come from taking an advocacy based approach. Additionally, our primary channel of communication has been through a Facebook group, but in order to achieve a higher level of media richness and more instantaneous communication, we have decided to create a group chat. In order to improve the richness of our communication, we have created a Facebook Messenger group chat to supplement the group page we had already created. This group chat provides our team with a medium that has a high media richness, allowing for effective communication. As originally stated in our team goals, we plan to improve on our delegation of work within the team through the effective utilization of action lists. At first, we had planned to delegate work based on our individual strengths, but we have failed to meet this goal thus far. Going forward, task delegation will allow us to leverage our strengths and improve group efficiency, while simultaneously eliminating the diffusion of responsibility that has occasionally affected our team. Consequently, we will start holding more focused, task-oriented meetings with reduced lengths, allowing us to greatly increase the efficiency of our group.
