The idea of being a team player is a real concept in the work place. Coworkers in the workplace although might have a variety of skills and abilities, will not be effective unless they are a part of a viable team. According to the article, it takes more than skills and talent for a team for work effectively (McEwan et al., 2017). For example, the workplace could be consider like a professional football team that has many skilled players for each positon. The players do not play alone and the player is not effective just by himself or herself. It is important to the team work together to accomplish their goals.
