Teaching Technology: Assimilating Technology Into The Curriculum

Assimilating technology into the curriculum is a priority in most schools today. Most didactic technology experts agree, however, that technology should be integrated, not as a detached subject or as a once-in-a-while plan, but as an instrument to encourage and broaden student learning daily. The task, of course, is in finding ways to utilize technology and to help students use it which does not take time away from the main subjects.
For several educators, an absence of individual skill with technology offers the extra challenge. To incorporate technology-based actions and plans into their curriculum, those teachers first must find the time to learn to use the tools and understand the vocabulary necessary for participation in those projects

There are even some schools that have invested in their teachers by providing the opportunity for them to be trained and informed of how to effectively used technology in education. These teachers are used with others from different countries in technological conferences to promote the many tools to secondary and primary school teachers in the country. Of the eighteen primary schools three are completely equipped with the technological tools in each classroom to engage students. While, the secondary schools teach technology as a subject with their resource being a computer lab, which is not available in all the schools. One recommendation is for government, ministry of education to become more involve in integrating technology in education. With them more in tune with global demand and rapid development of technology along with private donates and the foresee foundation then the inclusion of technology would be exposed effectively in all school to promote the 4Cs to all students: Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Critical thinking.
But to achieve this, teachers should be adequately trained to apply what they already know to innovatively create learning strategies which includes the inclusion of technology. This should be an investment in the future generation which is linked to the economy and development of the country.
Thirdly, get parents involve in teaching their children how to use the various technological tools and internet with responsibility. When students are able to see the interest of all parties involved, they would be more motivated to use it to gain information that are relevant in their
