Sperrazza your child’s teacher. I was writing to tell you about how excited I was to have your child in my class. I have been looking forward to getting to know your child as an individual and learning about their straights and weaknesses. During this upcoming year each child will grow individually. I have learned that not every student learns the same, so I plan to differentiate my instruction in order to reach each student. I also want my students to enjoy school and learning. This will encourage my students to want to come to school and help them to feel comfortable in their learning environment. I encourage each and everyone of my students to be nice to their classmates, so that everyone can feel safe to learn at their own pace. I will be sending home weekly news letters with what we plan to do that week as well as how our class did the week before. I will also be making periodic phone calls and letters to individual parents to talk about their child’s progress, concerns that I, as a teacher, have, and to discuss any concerns that you have as a parent. Feel free to send me notes, emails, or call whenever you feel the need. I am always open to suggestions and would love to hear from you.
