Classroom Management Plan Essay

My goal is to create a plan to teach and organize a classroom equipped to create a fun, safe, and motivational learning environment for pre-k students. My first thought is how one grasps the minds of this young age group of students through classroom management. The room has to be age appropriate, very attractive and inviting to the students. “Classroom management is a set of procedures and systems that are put in place to create an environment that focuses on students learning”. In order for classroom management to work, educators need to know the reasoning for classroom management. Educators create the type of environment conducive to learning based on their actions and decision” (Newman, R.,2013).

Setting up classroom rules and modeling the type of behavior you expect from your students must be demonstrated from you. Being an effective educator also is developed from being able to inspire and motivate your children to learn. In being an educator, you must never become too complacent in your career because with this world of cutting edge technology there is always room to grow and to enhance your teaching abilities. “Teachers with high perceptions of educational technology self-skills have high perceptions of classroom management skills. This result may be attributed to the experience in the use of educational technology” (Varank & Ilhan, 2013).
Classroom management is a very important aspect in running your classroom. We as educators must know we are here to create a learning environment structured to motivate our students to learn. It takes much time, critical thinking and lots of planning. Unfortunately, we sometimes must learn through trial and error. Always remember to have fun in setting up and establishing your classroom. Do not become stressed out and never be filled with so much pride or embarrassment that you never ask for help. As team members, we should be available to help each
