Every song written has a special meaning behind it. Especially Taylor Swifts music, she is unlike other artists. She never had issues with drugs or alcohol, along with teen pregnancy like most celebrities did at a young age. During her teenage years she was singing. Every time she releases a song, they get more powerful. No matter how hard or painful it is for her to sing about a certain topic, she still does. She sings about past real life experiences and while doing this she is connecting to every single one of her listeners in ways other artists do not. She is very open which is hard to come by these days. Through out the video the date is going well as hoped for. When she sees him talking to another girl, it is all down hill. As she is destroying his portrait with a knife you can see the energy and emotion in her face along with her actions. She is truly hurt and devastated. The way she raises her arm and goes into the picture shows her anger. She starts at the top and goes all the way down. Stopping and heavily breathing when she gets to the bottom. The camera focuses on that for a moment. As the viewers we can almost feel her pain and anger. She is trying to get over the fact that now she has a blank, empty space in her life. Taylor Swift writes about her real life experiences from her own perspective. She knows that most of her fans are teenage girls who have probably gone through the same thing. Although sometimes she could be a little extreme with her music, that is truly how most young girls react to those kind of situations today. It should teach them never to judge anybody after a break up, because you do not truly know what they are going through. Most boys do not know how girls react and deal with break ups. Some take it easy, and some not so much. For example Taylor’s music video. Losing someone important in your life could be harder than most people think. This video could be an eye opener to some. For boys it could show them not to disrespect a girl, like talking to other girls behind her back.
