In this century of ours there are thousands of artists who strive on selling their music to the world. However there is one very iconic artist that has transformed the lives of people in many ways. That artist is Taylor swift.
How Taylor arose to claim the air of fame she now possesses all started form her early years. Ever from a young age she was always inclined towards singing and song writing. However she became so passionate about it she would do it for long periods of time, so much in fact that moma and papa swift would had to put rules about finishing homework before starting. Funny so mentions Taylor in Journey to Fearless” Hi im eleven can I have a record label”. Sadly she was turned down and she then realized “everyone in town wanted to do what I wanted to do what I wanted to do. So, I kept thinking to myself, I need to figure out a way to be different.” However she then aced an artist development deal with RCA Records. After receiving many “not yets” from the record she decided to go her own way. One day as she was performing at the Bluebird café ,which ironically so is the café that Faith Hill was discovered at, she receives a phone call from Scott Borchetta. He says how she sees great potential in Taylor and would love to sign her,but there was a problem…he didn’t have a record company Yet. Well not exactly he stated he just didn’t have a name but he said to wait and he promised it would happen all that he required from Taylor was patience.
After working very hard taylor became the youngest to be signed by the record. Finally on October 24, 2006 the album Fearless was released. The album sold 39,000 in its first week and as of march it had sold over 5.5 million copies worldwide. The fearless tour was something that took much time in developing however the outcome was beautiful. The fearless tour lasted 18 months and was world wide.
