“People haven’t always been there for me, but music always has.” This quote by Taylor Swift expresses how she feels about music and how it helped her. Swift’s childhood is unique and mainly about her exquisite family. Swift enjoyed music so much that she wrote her own. While she was popular outside of school, inside school had its own little twist. Finally, Swift was able to release her music and won awards for them. In her spare time, Swift picked up many relationships during her hit career. I believe that Taylor Swift is one of the best singers out there and that she has lived a forever lasting career.
Taylor Swift’s childhood is about many interesting things, but she mainly has her family. Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989, to Scott Kingsley Swift and Andrea (Finlay) Swift in Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift had to wait until 2007 (18 years) until she could release any of her music. While Swift was waiting she graduated from Aaron Academy at age 18. During that same year, Swift won the Horizon Award, released Rhapsody Originals, became the top new female vocalist, and released Sounds of the Season: The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection. Not long after Swift was nominated for Grammy as the Best New Artist in 2008 when she was only 19. During 2008 Swift released Fearless and won several awards for the song the year after. Swift was awarded the Video of the Year Award and Female Video of the year award (CMT) in 2009. Not long after she became the Youngest artist in history to win a Grammy, and is the top-selling digital artist in music history. Speak Now was released in 2010 when she was 21.
