Taylor Swift Monologues

On Thursday night I got the chance to see to Taylor Swift live for the second time (I can feel you judging, judgey people - She's amazing & the show is incredible - except for the part where she didn't play Wonderland, but we don't need to talk about that and I'm not even sorry for going.) but each time I see her or any live show I'm left in absolute awe of what I've just experienced, and after experiencing this particular show it got me thinking about what live music is for me and the feeling i'm left with, and I sort of wanted to share that, so here we are.

Live Music can be a lot of different things for a lot of different people. For some people it creates a sense of community, identity and culture. For others it's a chance to discover new acts they might not have known before and for some it might be chance to see their favourite act put on a show, and to watch them do their thing live. But for me, and many others I imagine, it's an escape; and it's having shows you see being intertwined with whatever life experience you're going through and being turned into moments you won't ever forget. …show more content…
