Taylor Swift Monologue

I stood up from my seat to see better and put on my bracelet. Bright lights of every color flashed everywhere. It was an amazing sight. A performer came on stage. I smiled. He started singing a new song that I really like. I smiled. All of a sudden, bright yellow lights started going off everywhere from the bracelets that were given to us, and the crowd started going wild waiting for the person that we were all here for to come out. The bracelets were really cool. Finally, Taylor Swift came out on the stage smiling and started to perform one of my favorite song by her. I smiled brightly. I remember dancing to the song after it started playing and listening to the thrilling rhythm. Taylor Swift smiled and waved to us. During the performance, …show more content…
Her background dancers were very well put together and danced very well. I remember thinking I wanted to be one of her background dancers. I do not think I want to do that anymore. The scent of perfume came off my body, since I had it sprayed on myself. There was also the smell of sweat from people nearby. I remember still being able to taste my spearmint gum. The beat to the music was extraordinary. It overpowered Taylor’s singing. I could hear myself and other people singing very loudly. The music and the performer singing made me so happy, because I loved her music and singing very much. I stood during most of the performance while a lot of people sat in their seats, but I liked standing. Hurt, was my feet since I stood pretty much the whole time. During the show, my mom sat down. It was an amazing show even though we weren't in the front row. I remember being so excited when Taylor brought out a surprise guest. He was one of my favorite artist. Nelly came out and started singing one of my favorite songs with Taylor, They sounded very good together with the different combination of their voices. A few minutes later, after singing and screaming, Nelly left. It was a surreal moment. Never before had I had so much fun. This was an amazing experience that I would never forget in life. It was an ideal moment. We had payed a lot to see her, but seeing her was worth

We were going to hear them sing, to us, and it was amazing. When you think about seeing someone in concert you think about someone you have been dying to see. The night before we left for Shakopee, I studied the bands, what kind of music they played and what they sounded like. Very few of them became favorites, as I am very picky the kind of music I listen to. I was scared because I was still fairly new to this, but by the end of the night I wasn’t scared…

After putting on our bright pink leotards and ballet shoes, which trust me we're not the most fashionable, we went out to the car to wait on Dianna’s mom. I should mention it was still raining as if the earth would flood outside, this made it slightly hard to hear but we ran out to the car anyway. Me, Dianna, and Dalton bolted through the door, sprinting to the car that Dianna had unlocked with the small remote. The cold rain made the humid, hot day not feel as bad as the rest of that summer had been, which was dry and hot. When we got into the car we sat for a bit but then Dianna decided she wanted to turn on the music so she jumps to the front seat of the car.…

I was absolutely mind boggled by the reactions that I perceived from the stage! I saw my tough and not-so-sensitive dad sobbing, my non-believer friend attentive, and the rest of the congregation worshipping with me. I got my first standing ovation. I was so proud to take it in with my fellow praise team members. Come to find out, by practicing with my team in front of people, we influenced them to ask our praise team leader, “What is so different about these kids?”…
