Studies show that nearly one in ten teens has had a same-sex partner. That reveals to be 9.3 percent of teenagers that say they have had at least one partner who is the same sex as they are. This is double of what previous research has shown over the years. teen years are so full of doubt and confustion about self and identity. Hence, we are in the stage where peer pulling is strong, and trying different things is common. I feel really storng about this article because for one, I have a sister that dates the same sex, and considers herself as being male. Comperison to Alesana, I’ve seen the stress, and pain that my sister went through. It made me furious that people would not accept her for being lesbian when others at my school were also doing it. Secretly, “In the closest.” I feel that Alesana is brave for letting the world know who she is, and not being ashamed to be herself. Not only does she get an A+ in my gradebook, she in a way is changing many gay, lesbian, and transgender teenagers life more and more each day. I inspire this because its a win-win situation. She might have had to go through misery, but many people would agree that she did a courageous deed, and the Angels in Heaven will certainly be
