Tawanda Jones: My Definition Of A Hero

I think the word hero is carelessly used nowadays, being a hero is being able to earn it through hard work and daily dedication.
To many people volunteer work is a job or a career even though they don’t get paid. Like volunteer cops and firefighter who work long hours and risk their lives without pay. Tawanda Jones, the founder of the Camden Sophisticated Sisters Drill Team, helped get kids of the streets of Camden, New Jersey to do something good with the life they were given. She didn’t help kids to get paid, she did it because she cared about the kids and their well-being. One teenager even said, “Miss Jones is like a second mom to me”. You see, most volunteers choose to help because they love their community and helping people, and I think
