The Dakota School District is making huge strides in the advancement of technology in education. When school resumes in 2015, every student in grades 6-8 will receive a Chromebook for use in the classroom. Chromebooks are laptop-like devices that will boost student engagement in the classroom, allow our students access to the most up-to-date news and information, and enhance our students’ ability to communicate and work collaboratively. With the implementation of 1:1 technology throughout the district, Dakota CUSD will continue to be a leader in the advancement of education by providing students with the tools and instruction necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world that sees technological advancements happening at a rapid rate.
