Target's Bathrooms Case Study

Did you know that at Target men and women are allowed to use the opposite gender’s bathrooms and changing rooms if they claim to be that gender? Many people don’t know this surprising rule that threatens the safety of women and young girls all across the country. Many will say that it is fine to shop there as long as you don’t use the bathrooms or changing rooms, but I disagree. I find it hard to give your money to businesses who don’t respect people’s basic rights of privacy. You may think that I am falsely accusing them, but it doesn’t take a genius to see that times are changing along with people’s rights, values, and how people view one another. It is not hard to imagine people taking advantage of this dangerous policy, and they won’t be the people who it was meant for but instead people with bad intentions. Many young girls have already been taken advantage of, including a 9-year-old, 11-year-old, 12-year-old, multiple 13-year-olds, 16-year-old, and many others. But Target continues to ignore it. The longer this goes on, the more money Target loses. Right now, Target’s market value has decreased by $1.5 million. Bryan Fischer, the host of Focal Point, a radio talk show on AFR, says, “Here’s hoping Target really loves their mindless, irrational, anti-science, and anti-genetic, war-on-women political correctness because it’s costing them a bundle.” And I totally agree.
