Target Market can be referred to the specific market segment by the product or service, which can divide into four criteria include of definable, meaning, sizable and reachable (Abrams, 2003). Concerning our event, which mainly is to promote the international cultural exchange to the public. In order to let younger generation, know this cultural and join our cultural carnival, we have chosen some different types of group and person as our target market, including family, students, and young people. It is a big market for our events. In order to attract those students, we will provide the discount to school. Hence, students are one of our target markets in a cultural carnival.
Regarding the young people, which refer to the international cultural enthusiasts. They have a keen interest in international cultural. So, they would be willing to participate in our cultural carnival.For example, some people like the Japanese anime culture and some of the people like the Chinese Kung Fu. There are approximately 7,340,000 people in Hong Kong. Most people live in Sha Tin, Kwun Tong and Yuen Ling, which is around 657,200 people, 643,600 people and 610,900 people respectively. Subsequently, the second most people live in Eastern and Kwai Tsing, which is approximately 550,800 people and 510,700 people respectively. The rest of people live in Sai Kung, North, Tai Po, Tuen Mun, Kowloon City, Wong Tai Sin, Sham Shui Po and Yau Tsim Mong, which close to or more than 300,000 people live in these districts. Fewer people live in Islands, Wan Chai, Southern and Central & Western, which close to or less than 200,000 people live in these district (Census and Statistics Department, 2017). We would like to attract these more populated districts, which include of Sha Tin, Kwun Tong, Yuen Ling, Eastern, Kwai Tsing, Sai Kung, North, Tai Po, Tuen Mun, Kowloon City, Wong Tai Sin, Sham Shui Po and Yau Tsim Mong. Although there are a lot of districts are very remote like Sai Kung, Tai Po, Yuen Ling and Islands, the location of Victoria Park is very convenient, which are a lot of buses can be reached directly. In addition, there is comprehensive MTR transport system, which can facilitate people to visit the Victoria Park. On the other hand, the age of 25-54 people is more than the same districts of other age. It means that this is the largest potential target group of people. And most of parents are come from this age group. Consequently,
