A leader is the person who leads or commands a group, organization, or country. Laotse is considered a leader since he has a view of how a country should be control and wants everyone to understand and support his views. He, as a leader, has the ability to run a good country and make a good and unified society. When a person is forced to do something they usually wont do it or do it but with bad intentions or attitudes. As Laotse’s view of a government structure, he wouldn’t force anyone to do something so he can gain respect his people. He will then encourage and support them to do things properly. He also trusted his people, which is a very good characteristic of a successful leader.

An anarchy is the condition where a society has no rulers; government is absent. As Lao Tzu explains: “Therefore the Master acts without doing anything and teaches without saying anything” (2). In an anarchy society is free to do whatever they want. Comparing this with the Tao Te Ching, we can see that in Lao Tzu society he is the ruler but people don’t know it. “The Master doesn’t talk, he acts. When his work is done, the people say, “Amazing: we did it, all by ourselves!” (17). That is one of the greatest power he has. He can’t be perceived but still does his work. People can’t see him but he still helps them achieving their things. Having this type of ruler makes a lot of sense because it shows how individuals could achieve their liberties through cooperation with each other.
His main intentions were to valorize the society and emphasizes a lot in voluntary co-operation. We have to belief in ourselves and follow our instincts. His ideal society would be one of simplicity, naturalness and peaceful. Escaping from the bad things of life and focus on the simple and natural ones. Forget about what gives us more power and honor and just focus on living a simple life without problems or
