In the improve version the student wrote about her personal experience growing up as a Russian woman. She clearly gives several examples why because of her culture and lack of communication her marriage was one of that 50 percent of couples that got divorced. On her body paragraph she wrote like if she was writing a research paper giving several of Tannen quotes from the original paper. In her improved paper she explains how tradition and culture can have a huge impact on couples communicate.
