The Tanglewood Walk For Wishes

By it’s very definition service is an act of helpful activity or aid. Service is best summed up by what Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” To me the project I participated in serves this definition and quote well. On November 14th, 2015 the Make A Wish foundation held a walk through the Tanglewood lights to help raise money to grant wishes for sick children. Though it was on a brisk and cold night, walking for childhood cancer warmed my heart, as well as those around me and kept smiles glowing all through the night. It is truly an experience I will never forget.
