Tall poppy syndrome is a British term that refers to a people or group of people who attack, criticize or cut down a person who achieved fame and success, especially in public. Just like a flower that grows beautifully among other, which makes it stand out and a great choice for being cut first. Anne became the target of this syndrome due to her prominent films like The Dark Knight Rises, Interstellar and Les Miserables. She got victimized and really got cut down to size. Surely, she wasn’t the only person in Hollywood who has been the victim as there are dozens of celebrities too but seems to just blow over.
