Finding a real argument agaist or in favor of taking an online class is difficult, alot of it will depend on oppions. When online courses started to pop out of the cracks, there were many partents who thought this idea was a way for students to hide, and not put themselves in the real world, where they will learn with others. Online courses are hard, but people need to be dedicated and organized to acheive well in an English course online. English has been something that people have known since they first started to speak. A class online, is based on reading and following instructions. It is not a matter of how easy it is to cheat, but the despercation of needing to cheat. Students are also aware that many Universites and online programs, are making it impossible to be able to cheat, for example not allowing your computer to look at any other cites while taking a test. Another question that has been challenged, is that students online have the availability to have another student take the exam for them. Universites are already starting to solve this problem, they are hiring online protectors to check the I.D of the student.

Even though, the students online have the critisim of being able to cheat, it needs to be recgonized that students who attened reqular classes also have many ways of cheating on exams. There are the classic ways of cheating that everyone knows, such as writing answers on your arm, underneath of your shoes, and writting a slip of paper to hide from the proffessor. With classes being so expensive, taking online courses can reduce the price in half, leaving students with less school debt. Students who have learning disapilites, or students who have problems speaking out in class. This is an advantage for the, with being online, they can ask their proffessors questions without other students knowing. Students who are also parents, full time workers, and may have other obligations, online classes are an easy access for them to be able to succed.

There are many negatives and positives about online classes, especially an online English class. Most of the criticism that online classes are easily debunked by the ever growing technology. With promptors and block websites while taking exams is a huge step for online classes. Students who are going to class, will have the same rules, they have one thing that can be hidden now, which is a smart watch. Overall, online classes are for some people and are not for others.
