Trade rumors to Taj Gibson start to swirl around the news as of late. Just recently, he was linked to being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves and Toronto Raptors but up until now none of those deal has happened. But new reports have floated that he could possibly head to the Golden State Warriors before the trade deadline.

According to CBSSports, Gibson could one of the potential steals on the trade market once the Chicago Bulls is decided to let him go.

The Bulls are gunning for a playoff spot this season and it would be insane if they will trade the 31-year old forward who've been with them at the start of his career. But with his contract expiring after this season making him an unrestricted free agent, his future with the Bulls is still uncertain up to this moment. And a proposed deal from the Golden State Warriors is something to ponder upon.

According to Yibada English, since the Bulls are said to be among the teams that will be active on the trade market, exploring a trade deal with the Warriors could be a plausible one. The Warriors needs to fill in a defensive gap in the middle after Andrew Bogut left the team thru free agency last summer.

Having Gibson will surely solve that problem and will give an ample help on the Warriors defensive end. Trade scenario is saying that the Warriors will send Shaun Livingston and Zaza Pachulia to the Bulls for Taj Gibson and the trade would satisfy NBA trade and salary cap rules as per ESPN NBA Trade Machine.
