This is going to be about taigas. Some of it being about the locations of the taiga. Different ones being the characteristics, and soil. Others are about the plants, and animals. Then it will be about the food chain. Last it will be some interesting facts about the taiga.

Where the locations of the taiga are. It is near Norther American. A different place it is in Canada. It is stretchs along Alaska. Also a location it is at is Russia, and the Northern Hemisphere.

The taigas characteristics, and soil. The taiga is also known as the boreal forest. It mostly has short wet summers, summers tempter is around 65f. When it is winter they are long and cold, the average temperature is 7f. It rains to 12 to 33 inches. The Taiga is right under the tundra. Most soil in the taiga thaws in the summer.

Some animals in the taiga are foxes, bears, and wolfs.There are also deer, and lynx. Also different animals are minks, mooses, and caribou. Some types of plants that are in the taiga are blue bead lily, goldthread, and pearing everlasting.

The ecosystems and food chains in the taiga. The taiga is the largest terrestrial biome and it extends across europe. A food chain in the taiga startes with fruit which is the producer, then red-breasted nuthatch which is the primary consumer. The next part of the food chain is the western whiptail which is secondary consumer. The coyote is the tertiary consumer.

Interesting thing about the taiga. The taiga is the largest biome on earth. Taiga is warmer and wetter than the tundra. The taiga is heavily forested.
