His mother, a retiring Geisha, looked forward to the prospect of carrying the tradition of women in her family by having her future daughter take up the reins in the Okiya. What she wasn’t prepared for was having two sons, twin’s to be exact. Tadashi and Masashi, it’s that order of birth that would decide the two boys fates. The older by a few minutes would become an educated young man that would carry on the family’s name, while Masashi was left to take up the family tradition. He had been informed at an early age what his fate would be, so caution was taken with most activities. He couldn’t do anything dangerous that could potentially harm his face or hands. He didn’t particularly mind, already being influenced at birth he didn’t find participating
