As previously stated there are no tribal youth or family organizations for youth with or at risk of substance use disorders and co-occurring problems. However, there are youth, family, and elder representatives at the TAC. Nevada PEP is a very active family advocacy organization within the state. It is a member of the Federation of Families. Tribal Advisory Committee family members and elders can access Nevada PEP to learn advocacy skills and receive support as they begin to advocate for youths and families. The Project Director is largely seeking to utilize existing resources rather than develop new organizations for the purposes of this grant. C.
