As previously stated there are no tribal youth or family organizations for youth with or at risk of substance use disorders and co-occurring problems. However, there are youth, family, and elder representatives at the TAC. Nevada PEP is a very active family advocacy organization within the state. It is a member of the Federation of Families. There have been several deaths caused by the plaguing addiction of drugs and alcohol. Drug use is becoming a growing problem that needs to be contained and prevented with the help of an expansion of the organization LAPP (Licking County Alcoholism Prevention Program) branching out into its own center called EPLAPP, (Extensive Progression of Licking County Alcoholism Prevention Program). With the creation of EPLAPP, the services being provided will be more in depth and help some with more employees/volunteers to help addicts, along with other resources, such as financial aid, counseling, and sober living facilities.
